R and RStudio
Installing R and RStudio on my computer was very smooth. I had already downloaded them previously for another class, so I was familiar with the process. I downloaded R version 4.4.3 from CRAN and RStudio version 2025.09.2+418, then followed the default installation steps. Opening RStudio confirmed that the programs were working correctly, and I could see the R console immediately. Taking a screenshot of the RStudio console was easy and will be included in this post.
My system details are as follows: I am using Windows 11, R version 4.4.3, and RStudio version RStudio 2025.09.2+418 “Cucumberleaf Sunflower” Release. Since I encountered no problems, I didn’t need to troubleshoot anything during installation. Overall, the installation process was easy and straightforward, which makes me feel ready to start learning and working with R for this course. I am now prepared to explore R programming concepts and complete the upcoming assignments.
